This is my first attempt at a TZM/TVP/RBE related video. I tried to condense highlights of TVP’s FAQ into a short and light 10 min animation using Xtranormal. You may recognize these two from the HTC EVO vs iPhone 4 video. I tried my best to get the character traits down without distracting from the key messages of the video. Wayanad district is part of the Western Ghats region of India, a mountain range located along India’s west coast. The Western Ghats is a biodiversity hotspot characterized by high species richness on the one hand, but high rates of species losses on the other. The majority of people here are small to marginal scale farmers who maintain a variety of plants in their home gardens. The biodiversity in this area has been conserved through the conscious selection made by farmers over many generations. People have been practicing agro-forestry or similar land-use systems for thousands of years. In this video, accompanied by the village chief, we visit Churuli Village, Wayanad District where people practice traditional agriculture such as home garden and live from the bounties of the forest, and find out from the expert of Kerala University of Agriculture on the changes in recent years.Amidst such changes, we also present some modern efforts taken by farmers in the surrounding area. Bruce Leech is a 1978 Finance graduate of Michigan State University, and a Spartan through and through. He founded CrossCom National in 1981, which focuses on the installation and service of telecommunications and data systems for large national retailers. Over the next 25 years, he grew the company to be one of the leading IT services firms for retailers, while also developing a UK office. He recapitalized the firm in 2004 but retained a position on its board. Bruce now works with other business owners, helping them with their business transition and financial planning strategies. He co-founded evolve, a membership organization for business owners to enhance their value, harvest their wealth and live their life. He also does a lot of work in the non-profit area with Solidarity Bridge, an organization sending medical teams to Bolivia, and with Living Water and their work with clean water programs in Third World countries. Bruce is on the Broad College of Business Alumni Board at Michigan State University and is chairman of the Advisory Board at the Coleman Entrepreneurship Center at DePaul University.
